2021 Scholarship Saturday Raises Scholarship Funds

After two years of no "live" fundraisers, the in-person, outdoor Scholarship Saturday was a success!  Benefiting the students of Lincoln and Sacred Heart High Schools, Scholarship Saturday raised over $9,000 for new and renewable scholarships. With students now applying for 2022 scholarships, the $9,000 will help tremendously in reaching our $30,000 goal for awarded scholarships in the new year.   Special thanks to Robert Bermudez (video) and Rene Rodriguez (event photos). See more photos of the event!

This year despite the pandemic, Lincoln Heights Dollars for Scholars awarded 24 scholarships to Lincoln and Sacred Heart High School students totaling $24,000 and another $7,000 in renewable scholarships to undergraduates beginning their sophomore and junior years. Since our inception, we have awarded over 420 scholarships, with support from our partners, totaling over $420,000 to deserving Lincoln and Sacred Heart students.
